I love this Calphalon spring form pan. It's perfect for making cheesecakes. I was impressed by the nice weight of the pan when it arrived. It appears that this pan will withstand the test of time.
The non stick finish on this pan means I won't be scraping my desserts off the pan when I go to remove them. I've had no issues getting the pan to release from my cheesecakes thus far.
Clean up is a snap for this pan. To protect the non-stick surface, I hand wash this pan, but it can be placed in a dishwasher.
I did find that this pan can leak a bit. I'm not sure if it's because of what I was baking (pumpkin cheese cake, and just about everything I make with pumpkin leaves behind an oily mess) or the pan itself, but I'd strongly recommend placing a cookie sheet under this pan to avoid drips in the oven.

Purchased this pan to replace an old one after the bottom part was lost on the old pan. This pan is a heavier, more durable quality pan than I expected for this price. I use it to make cheesecake and only cheesecake so I did not want to spend a lot of money on something that I only use occasionally. This is a great springform cheesecake pan. The cheescakes that I have made in my old pans never cooked evenly like this one did. They would stick to the bottom of the pan. I never had seen a glass bottom springform pan before so I was intrigued and purchased it. Ive been impressed with the Frieling brand before so I figured I would like it. When I used it the first time with one of my favorite cheesecake recipes - I was so pleased how it turned out. My only worry is that I dont scratch the glass with a sharp knife.
