This is the second rug like this I have purchased from Wayfair. I am inclined to use them as more a piece of art, than an actual rug. It would seem hard to keep clean if it is used in a high traffic area. The first rug I purchased I actually have hanging on the wall. I may do the same with this one. (They are hefty, so it requires proper support) Be aware, too, that these rugs will shed pieces of leather that are not completely attached. Another reason they may not be good for a high traffic area.
Beautiful, but a little problematic

I utterly love this rug, so I'll start with the positive. It's an amazing texture for any room, and the fact that it's real leather scraps means it's easy to clean and care for, and it goes with everything because it's undyed. The downside and the reason for the low marks: it off-gassed for weeks after I got it, so odorous that I had to keep the doors and windows open as much as possible, and it still has a pretty strong scent a year in when you're down near it. The scent does eventually go away, but it lingered for an extremely long time. The other point against it is that the scraps are not universally well attached. It sheds bits every time you walk on it. I just toss them back onto the rug and it's not visible, but I've lost probably three dozen scraps off it since I bought it, and there's no easy way to sew them back in. I'm definitely glad I bought it, in the end, though.
Rug looks good

We have the rug in our home office. It is cool looking... It does shed leather strips so you have to be ok with that. Not much foot traffic where the rug is and I think if there was a lot of walking on it more shedding might occur. Overall we are pleased.

Leather strips fell off this rug as I took it out of the package! I tried it for a day or two, but pieces came out if it was walked on at all. And there were random places where no leather was attached at all, leaving the base product exposed. This product gets NO stars.

Love this rug the color was just as it said in ad. The smell was of leather. Looks great in my entry way. Feels interesting to my feet.

This is 2nd rug I purchased through wayfair & very pleased with both. This time Was looking for a unique rug, something different & this is it. The random shredded pieces of leather for which creates the rug is something I haven't seen before. I was a little concerned as to how the actual rug would be compared to picture. Actual rug looks better than picture with top quality. Very pleased with purchase will purchase a runner soon.
Fun entry addition

This brings a nice pop of color to our entry. When we laid it out the kids immediately took off their shoes and had to walk on it barefoot. They always smile now when they come inside.

I purchased this rug for an new look to an updated room. It is unique and has a rustic look that fits in with my decor. I love the rich colors of browns and nuetrals. The price is also great too.
