This Reliance 29" Aluminum Anode Rod protects water heater tanks from corrosion. It has aluminum construction, which ensures strength and durability. It is a self-sacrificing rod and attracts minute pieces of metal that cause corrosion in the water heater. To extend tank life, flush the tank and replace the anode rod every year.
