This is a great product. The end result looks very nice and is sturdy even if you don’t use the ground stakes, which we did not. The instructions are clear regarding how to attach the hinge pieces to the boards. I will add that depending on the configuration you need, you will need to be actively aware of how hinges should be attached. It is a puzzle that needs solving by the person putting the bed together rather than requiring a step by step explanation in the building instructions. If you do put a hinge piece on upside down, it is very easy to slide a flathead screwdriver under the buttonpin slot to remove that buttonpin before reattaching the hinge.
