Telescope is Worthless

The telescope is supposed to snap into the base that is anchored on the swing set - but my daughter (just turned 2) is able to pull the telescope out of the base. (it took her about a minute to figure it out). Since she throws it overboard - we are afraid she'll hit another kid or dog with it... so it looks like we are now in the market for a better quality telescope :(
