I use the Med-E-Let pill dispenser to keep myself organized with the medication to be taken by my aged mother. One day, with another dispenser she overdosed taking two days worth of medications within a couple of hours. Now I no longer have to worry about this ever happening again. The compartments are the right size to house the amount of medications I must dispense each day. When the alarm sounds she knows it is time to take her medications. Taking her medications at the same time each day placed a burden on me as I kept the alarms in my cell phone. I was the one who notified her to take her medications on time. Now she is reminded by the Med-E-Lert to take to take her medication without prompting from me. The only problem I have with this product is when I have to change the medications that are already in the dispenser. Her blood thinners have to be changed often and it is difficult to remove a single tablet from the dispenser. I use a fondue fork now to retrieve the medications that I want to change.
