if using outdoors, great looking lamp although light itself not super bright if that is what is needed despite multiple settings. If using indoors, looks better from afar as up close does look somewhat like its resin composition , but basketweave pattern is very nice so that counter balances resin look. Would be hard to swap out shade as is just a metal frame with a brown fabric piece to cover frame and is connected to plastic light cover.
