This was the perfect addition to my smallish bathroom that lacked a medicine cabinet. The cabinet part of this unit is quite large and there is an extra shelf below the doors as well. The only reasons that I did not give this five stars is because (1) the assembly was somewhat time consuming, (2) there is a small flaw on the outside of one of the doors and (3) a piece of the particle board [located up inside the cabinet out of sight] straddling one of the dowels broke off when we attached the back--which by the way had holes that did not line up. All that being said, the assembly instructions were really quite good so that made up a bit for the assembly time. After I replaced the wooden knobs that came with the unit, it looks great, flaw and all. The curtains are a very nice feminine touch and are functional in that they hide the contents of the cabinet. My husband and I put these together -- the directions are very easy to understand and precise -- we are glad to have done it together. Wouldn't have been possible to do it alone. We use this over our toilet as described. It is a wonderful addition to our bathrooms, and just what we needed. Highly recommend you count all the hardware before you begin as suggested in the directions, as some screws were just floating in the boxes, and would've been impossible to find if we weren't looking for them specifically from the start (we ordered 2 of these, and the same screws were floating around in both boxes). They seem of durable quality. We were a little disappointed that some of the finish was scratched off on edges of some of the boards, but once we put them together and in place, it looks fine -- almost a tad antique-y, so we don't mind. One other thing is that one of the 4 drawer runners was a little bent. We didn't know how this would impact, and it just makes one of the drawers sag a teensy-tiny bit on one side (on the 2nd one, this was not a problem.) Make sure to do the last step of the instructions to attach it to the wall, or else it will feel like it is going to tip over (we almost missed that step)."..."  Read more

I was impressed the quality of this unit in both materials and design. What was exemplary was the thoroughness and simplicity of the installation instructions. I'd have to say of all the many 'purchases' that I've made requiring assembly over the years, this was by far the best written. This unit (as all over the toilet space savers) should be sold including the inside dimensions of the legs and lower shelf: The space for the toilet. It didn't fit mine (got a very wide upper tank) but I liked the unit so much I used it in my laundry room."..."  Read more

We used this in a bathroom where the toilet and a small shower are separated into a smaller room than the rest of the bathroom area. It fits perfect, no issues with the lowest rack not fitting over the plumbing which I was worried about. Looks clean and modern compared to other over the toilet options I've seen and was simple to put together - about 20 min.
