This mold reminds me of the one my dear aunt used to used to make her lamb cake at Easter time. It was so easy to use and the cake popped out with no effort. It was perfect. I used pound cake mix and greased the pan generously with shortening and dusted with flour.

Exactly what I wanted. The cake I made in it turned out great.

It was perfect for Easter, but it didn't fill-in completely on the back side. I will use more batter next time.
love the lamb
Julie Dillingham from Michigan
Love this cake mold -- just like the one from my childhood. Easy to use, just spray the pan and the cake will come out easy.

It is aluminum I couldn't tell there was any sort of nonstick finish and it's important to carefully grease pan thoroughly with paste made of shortening and flour

It was fine. Thought it was bigger. Used it at Easter, worked fine.hot here fast. Everything was fine. Thought everything was fine.
Lamb cake mold

The product was well made but the design isn't. The neck section is too thin to hold up the head and it will break off. Also, although the instructions say it will accommodate a boxed cake mix, it will not. If you use it, be sure to put something under it to catch the overflow.
Lamb Cake Mold

Perfect for my long-used Easter lamb cakes (which I now need for gluten-free baking). Exactly the same as the one I purchased more than 20 years ago. No assembly required; quality perfect.

I made several lamb cakes for Easter and they all came out perfect. Just well grease them and the cake slips right out. Pound cake is the best type cake to use in them.

Great pan to make an easter cake with. The quality was excellent and will last a very long time making many cakes.
