This rug is plush and soft. It is cushy. I have the floor sloped going from my family room to the kitchen, where there used to be a 6 inch step. It is now a sloping ramp and is covered in Marmoleum, like the rest of the floor. It is a little steep and slippery here for my mini-Dachshund to go up and down. She has a bad kneecap in her one back leg, and if she does not build up momentum, she can slide right back down this ramp. I got this rug to give her traction on the ramp and it is really doing the trick! It works for me, too. It is very soft and comfy to walk up. I put the Wayfair Basics Non-Slip Rug Pad underneath and it is absolutely springy in the center area where the rug pad lays.
The color is bright and vibrant. Background is kind of off-white, not gold like my monitor wants to show. The light green is a grass green, like an Ireland grass green. It may have a touch of lime. The dark green is still a true green, but dark, like an evergreen. The dashes in the middle of the light green diamonds are actually a very dark navy.
