I use this console as an entry way console and it's perfect due to its slim size, additional storage drawer and bottom shelf. Assembly was relatively simple, although you'll want to be careful you've got the bottom shelf piece on in the right direction before you put the other pieces together. We accidentally put the bottom shelf piece backwards so the non-finished side is in front, and in order to fix it, we'll need to un-do the entire console :-( The product itself is great!
