The big box store did not offer any adaptor to work with the fan we purchased, nor did they offer any advice on how to make it work. This is the only option that is affordable, easy to install and safe for a heavy ceiling fan. No wobble, even on a 6 ft pole. Was this helpful? Yes / No
Still Learning from South Carolina	5.0 9/3/2008 Solved my problem! We purchased ceiling fans and sloped ceiling adapters from a local DIY franchise (their brand). Turned out that their adapter wasn't going to work on our sloped ceilings. An electrician friend went online and found these adapters and suggested we try them. Received them yesterday and they are perfect! The adapter fits the store brand downrod exactly as I needed it to. And I was told by a "certain customer service person" that they wouldn't work..... Tom from Shelby TWP, MI	4.0 8/9/2007 Great Product This product is great, but I did have one problem. My ceiling bracket was not able to rotate. The hanger and ball with this kit was notched 90* from what I needed, luckily I was able to find a different hanger with the notch for the ball rotated 90* from the one with this kit. Once that was up, the installation was no different than a normal fan with rod install. Was this helpful? Yes / No
TEG from Denver CO	5.0 3/7/2007 Very Useful !!! This adapter proved to be very useful!!! Unfortunately the parts included with the fan we purchased would not work with our ceiling slope - and we were concerned that the Minka Aire-Slope Adapter wouldn't work with our fan either. But it did!! I think it would work well with any ceiling fan on the market. Great product!!! Was this helpful? Yes / No
