Love this nook
Tricia from Ottawa, Canada
This breakfast nook set is absolutely perfect for our kitchen breakfast nook which happens to look almost identical to the one pictured here on this website. It fits perfectly and is so much more practical and roomier than our large table which had to be pushed against the wall and could therefore seat only 3 people maximum. There is also storage under the seats where you can put placemats, tablecloths, etc. The only complaint I have is that it's not very solid but you can't really expect more than that from an MDFpine product and for the price paid. I don't think anyone weighing more than 200 lbs would be able to sit there without some fear of it breaking or cracking. Buit all in all, I'm really happy with it. It was easy to assemble. My sister put it together in about an hour and a half with minimal help unless she needed someone to hold a part for her. She complained nonstop about the instructions which were quite terribly written but if you're handy the instructions can just be used as a guide and you can easily figure out the rest of it yourself.
Not bad for the money

Don't expect this furniture to be passed down to the grandchildren, but for what you pay for it is a good value. I put it together myself. It took 2 to 3 hours and some language I am not proud of. The chairs are hard to put together because you have to line up all the pieces, hold it in place, and then put in the screws before everything falls apart. I highly recommend using 2 people and a drill. The 2 inch screws are hard to put in - I had to back the screw out several times to avoid stripping it. The bench seat was really wobbly even after I put it together. I secured the crossbar with some small brackets I had lying around and that helped. Overall, it looks good and it fits our space nicely. We are using the table for myself and our young kids. Dad has his own chair because I don't trust the table to hold all of us :) I expect it to last about 3 to 5 years.
We like it.

The pluses: It is really nice aesthetically and fair priced. It came sooner than the allotted time and was not missing any parts. The minus': The instructions are not presented in a manner that would get it put together correctly; however, if you are paying attention it is relatively easy to figure out. The finish is thin on the wood on the top and bench top and the material is softer. We did a light sandpaper scuffing and applied a couple coats of poly to keep the table from getting stained or damaged. As far as the softness of the wood... I wear jeans from the buckle that have fancy buttons etc, and they made impressions in the soft wood. This is more on me than the product, but it is something to be aware of. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase. I hope this helps Josh in Minneapolis.
Just as described, decent product

This was easy enough to put together with the instructions and is of decent quality. One or two holes were not pre-drilled deep enough so I wasn't able to get the screw in all the way, but it is in enough to make it safe still. The table has a small chip in it. One of the screw cover buttons doesn't stay in. Otherwise I love this set and I am hoping it lasts. My kids love the bench. The storage space, while smaller than expected, is a nnice feature.
Ardmore 3 piece
DENITZA from WHITING, IN – Verified Buyer
The Ardmore 3 piece is very pretty. One downfall is that there is no cushion on the benches and on the backs and after 15 min you don't feel as comfortable. It is a little difficult to assemble. I wish pieces like this come more pre-assembled than they are.
Good space saving dining set

This is a good piece of furniture that fit perfectly into my kitchen window nook. It was easy to put together in fact my 14 year old daughter assembled the majority of it except for the few steps that required more than ore person The only issue was that one piece of the top molding was damaged and although Wayfair offers an easy return on any damaged pieces, it turned out we didn't choose to include the corner piece for aesthetic purposes. The bench storage turned out to be the best bonus of the entire set. We can all casually eat all meals together as a family without setting the formal dining room table.

I think this corner nook is definitely worth the money. I was able to put it together myself in a couple hours. Instructions are OK. Some of the pre-drilled holes were too big and the screws would not hold tight. Maybe this is why some people had issues. I just stuck shimmies in their and after that the screws held very tight. Overall very satisfied with the quality for the price. BTW... nothing was damaged.
Nice for the price

The table looks lovely an functions well in our kitchen. The table is light weight and a bit wobbly. I am uncertain how well it will hold up over time. The benches feel study and stable. Assembly was a bit of a pain - you definitely need two people - and a slight crack developed in the back of one of the bench seats as it was screwed together. It functions fine now, but again, I am uncertain how it will hold up in the long run. In summary, I am very happy with the purchase considering the price. Pros: functionality and appearance. Cons: a bit wobbly, questionable long-term durability.
I like it more and more

I was so excited about this piece. Its a space saver and it's perfect for a small one bedroom apartment. The directions were slightly confusing-read them very carefully. I was very upset at first because there is a large and noticeable indent on one of the pieces of wood. It seems it was damaged in the shipping. I dont really notice it anymore. The best part of the table is that the seats lift up for storage. Decent piece over all. Had to purchase seat cushions because the seats are hard but that was expected.
Happy with what I got for the price i paid!
Josh from San Jose
I was really hesitant with pulling the trigger on this as the price point and pics had me concerned about what the quality was going to be. After reading some of the other reviews I decided to go ahead and make the purchase. I am happy to report that this is a great deal at this price point. This is not a table that will be used at every meal, rather breakfast and occasional dinner for my 10yr old son as well as used by me to open up my lap top and get work done. All in all well worth what I paid!
