As an industrial design student at UCLA in the mid-1950’s, Don Chadwick became inspired to design furniture after hearing a Charles and Ray Eames lecture on campus. Chadwick’s cutting edge furniture design is the result of his willingness to take risks by using materials in refreshingly original ways. Having gained national recognition for the Herman Miller Aeron chair he co-designed with Bill Stumpf, Don Chadwick is now enhancing the Knoll legacy with the introduction of his Chadwick chair.
