I was looking for a nice, sturdy and attractive wooden chairs for my 3 year old son to sit on while he practices his writing or working on crafts. These are the perfect chairs with the perfect price. These chairs feels and looks the same as the chairs in [...] and it's half the price.I got 2 of these chairs. One in the Aqua and one in the Pumpkin color. I do like the colors but the Pumpkin color is a little deep for the Aqua. I should have gotten the brighter orange color which I think would match the Aqua better. But overall, I think it's a very good buy with sturdy construction. I sit on one chair and my son sits on the other and it holds an adult weight too with no problem.Before purchasing these, we also checked out [...]chairs. The plasic chairs were too wobbly and the wooden chairs were too short in height or the seating were too small. I'm glad we didn't buy the [...]chairs just because of the price. With the Avalon chairs, it's a little bit more but definitely can use it much longer.I would recommend it to any parents that are looking for nice wooden chairs for their toddlers."..." Read more

I called KidKraft because the chair that I ordered was bright green and not pastel sage as it was advertised by All Children's Furniture. KidKraft sent me another chair in pastel yellow and allowed me to keep the bright green chair. The lady on the phone at KidKraft was very polite and eager to please.

Very well built chair with solid wood framing with no give in structure. Quality upolstery and thick upolstery. Chair will stand a beating. Child likes to turn chair over when not sitting in it. Not one seam in fabric has come lose and frame inside chair still rock stable with absolutely no give. Great product and you will get years of survice from it. This is not a cheap built chair.
