I reseached to find the best kitchen for our money that would also be cute in my daughter's playroom. We are sooooo happy with this kitchen. My daughter woke up Christmas morning to find that Santa brought her a "Big Girl" kitchen. She was soooo excited. She even squealed with delight that it was pink. My daughter honestly plays with the kitchen daily. She stores all of her food in the fridge and freezer and her dishes under the sink. We have added fun kitchen accessories like a coffee pot, mixer, toaster, blender, etc. to make the imaginary experiences more realistic. She just loves baking us cupcakes and making us eggs and toast. Recently, a shelf on the wall above her kitchen crashed and landed halfway across the top of the kitchen. I was absolutely sure that it had damaged the kitchen top and I was nearly in tears thinking about it. But happily, the kitchen took the beating without any damage at all - I was so shocked and thrilled. I highly recommend this kitchen for its value, durability, and creative possibilities. I began researching kitchens on line after my 2 nieces got kitchens for xmas and my little 2 year old daughter loved playing in them. Once I saw this kitchen I was completely hooked and would not settle for anything else.[...]at a great price too! [...] This kitchen was a birthday present for my daughter[...] in the end I'm so glad that I didn't settle for something else. I bought this kitchen for my 2 year old little girl, but my 2 boys aged 4 and 6 play with it as well. This kitchen is very well made and the quality is excellent. There were some minor scuffs and scratches on it but I figured in a few weeks my kids will eventually have scratched it up anyways. The kitchen is very cute and has lots of storage space. The kitchen took about 3-4 hours to put together, but I spent about an hour sorting out the pieces and the hardware. I also put most of it together by myself, my husband helped at the end, which is why it may have taken so long. I was also very careful and took my time because I wanted to make sure everything was perfect. The instructions were great and very easy to follow. [...]All of the hardware was also lettered and sorted, but they were not actually labelled correctly. I reorganized everything before I started which made putting it together a lot easier. All of the pieces are also clearly labelled and putting it together was actually quite fun. Everything lined up the way it should, from the predrilled holes, to the shelves and doors. In the end I would definitely recommend this kitchen! It is so cute and is exactly like the picture. I can see my daughter playing with this kitchen for years! I ordered the blue vintage kitchen for my 15 month old daughter for Christmas. I was only hoping to spend around $100, but I really wanted the blue kitchen set versus the pink or red one (I'm not a pink person!). I figured the kitchen set was an investment and my daughter would use it for many years, and hopefully a younger sibling someday, too. The kitchen set came in a nice compact box and arrived less than a week after I ordered it. The materials it is made of are very nice. It did take 2 days for my father-in-law to put the kitchen set together, but I am very happy with the final result. The size is just perfect for a 1-2 year old! Others who have seen it agree that it is superior to kitchen sets that they have seen before. Overall, we are very happy with this product. Santa brought this kitchen for my 6, 4 and 2 year old. It's perfect for my 6 year old because it's a larger kitchen. We had a smaller plastic kitchen which they outgrew so it was time for an upgrade especially since they love to play with their play food all the time. I would recommend getting some small trays or containers for your play food to keep some kind of organization in the many storage cabinets.
