Amazing features -- our daughter loves it!!! from Boston, MA on 04/09/2015 – Verified Buyer– Top 500 Reviewer
We gave this to our daughter for her 2nd birthday and she was thrilled. We chose this model because of all the different features (microwave, stove, oven, washing machine). I was surprised to see her using all of them.
The build quality and attention to detail is outstanding for a child's toy. The knobs on the stove make a clicking sound when turned. The doors on the fridge/freeer have a catch to keep them closed. I expect this toy will last a long time for her.

As you've probably read from the other Kid Kraft reviews, this will take a few hours to assemble. I was thinking I've done similar assemblies before and I budgeted about 1-hour -- it took more like 2.5 hours. The package of screws and fasteners has something like 200+ things that must be put together. The instructions were perfectly straightforward to follow, and I made no mistakes

Pros: Great features, very sturdy
Cons: 2.5 hours assembly time

Great Product, Great Quality from Oklahoma City, OK on 01/07/2016 – Verified Buyer
I love this kitchen. After reading the reviews we decided to get this for our 3 year old for Christmas. Now it did take me and my husband about 2 hours or so to assemble but the instructions are very clear and all parts are labeled. I love that the screws for each section are colored so that it matches the finish with no need for those sticker things. The quality of the product is very well. I think that it will be durable and last even for our 6 month old daughter when she is old enough to use this. Our daughter loved it and has played with it each day since. She loves the curtains and the pots it came with. I recommend this to anyone with a little girl.. hours of playtime and more.

Pros: Great value, durable, great quality.

Good quality. Good instructions. Would be 5 stars but took me a few hours to assemble. from greenville, SC on 12/30/2014 – Verified Buyer
For the price, worth the labor. Our 3 yr old loves it and it's well-crafted so it should last many years. This is an heirloom quality piece (in terms of materials) and you're paying yourself for the labor. If you pay $180 for the materials and delivery of this piece and you hypothetically charge $30 an hour for your time, then this is a $300 heirloom you can put in your garage until your kids decide they don't want it for their kids and you put it in a dumpster. So, $290 plus 20 years of storage and the cost of your labor to move it twice (everybody moves, you will too... that 'forever house' is a mirage. that's why mortgage companies don't worry about 30 year mortgages at 3% interest. they know you'll move, too. twice. at least.) this piece has a large negative Net Present Value. The quality is good enough to make you feel guilty about throwing it away. But you should plan to throw it away because everybody hates moving things around in the garage.
The hardware (screws, bolts, nuts) were organized well and labeled well but difficult to keep organized once I opened the hardware container.
If I were to try this assembly again, I'd place labeled post-it notes in the bottom of small tupperware bowls, and then put the corresponding hardware in the bowls. I'm only writing this because I think you should buy this product. I have 6 hours of work ahead of me yet this is therapeutic because my work doesn't really help anyone which is a sad commentary on my life but what can i do about it now? probably lots, but that's why wisdom is so valuable. for now, i choose to ignore my own selfish motives in my work because it's easier. and that makes me lazy and unwise. but that's for reflection time when i'm lonely and 87 years old... just take the free advice... The Tupperware bowls would have saved me an hour of labor. But, if you don't listen to these words... it won't be the first time you haven't listened, will it? If this is the first time you haven't listened to wisdom, you must be filled with joy. Or ignorant of your own weaknesses and prideful. Pride is obnoxious. Try to stop. For everyone's sake. Get down on your knees and recognize that your cells contain microorganisms so small that scientists couldn't even name them well... quarks... really? and the universe is so large, you're simply delusional if you believe there isn't a reason you're here. a lot of thought is required to put this stupid pink kitchen into a disassembled format in boxes in some remote village of China. Engineers are required to build the machinery that will pre-drill holes in the exact spots on the MDF pieces that will be mass-produced to specifications and tolerances where we as novices can assemble a small pink kitchen in hours.... do you think even your eyeball could be produced in utero without a remotely similar precision of engineering?
if so, then you need a lobotomy. seriously. i'm tired of playing games. think. and read some books (books that aren't about following your 'bliss' or 'aha' moments or any of that nonsense).
now, back to the kitchen... buy it. work hard. enjoy the results. and then tell your kid you love the way they do the things they do when they do them well. and when they're lazy and selfish, tell them to stop and take away something they love so they get the point.
not dinner, you freak! take away the electronics. they don't need them. they're actually more inconvenient than paper. give them a book that contains wisdom and ask them to find quotes they like and copy them as punishment. then, repeat as noted above. mostly, hug them and tell them you love them every day so they won't be so ordinarily boring in their self-obsessive behaviors as we all are. make them love each other. promote peace and loyalty among your kids. it's not natural to love one another. we're looking for alphas to lead us or trying to assert our basis for being alphas by nature. love is unnatural and that's the test for all of us. do we love our kids enough to stop being lazy and spend four hours putting together an idiotic pink kitchen? yes? then, buy it. no? then, don't. just realize you're an idiot if you think they won't turn out just like you if you don't stop being just like you are. change. for them. because you love them. peace in the middle east. and read proverbs to them. trust me. don't be an idiot. i'm not a thumper. i'm a disinterested stranger who cares. stop being stupid. buy the kitchen. read what solomon said. he knew stuff.

Sturdy and adorable from Little Elm, TX on 03/10/2013 – Verified Buyer
This play kitchen is super sturdy. My husband, who is handy, took about 2 12 hours to make this. There are a lot of parts to it, so it was rather daunting, but are required for a better product than most play kitchens. His only complaint was that the screws included in the kit are a very soft metal. Be careful when screwing in, as the tops will rip right off if you go too far.

This set is good for 2 children playing at the same time MAX. My kids have loved it, and is their favorite place to play everyday. I love the attention to detail, from the hanging pots and pans to the raised wood stove detail instead of just a flat sticker or paint job. The curtains really make it more believable. However, be aware that one little pull from a child will easily pull the chalkboard off on the refrigerator.

Wayfair sent quickly, and was the best deal I could find. And then it went on sale while I was researching, it ended up being a $70 difference from other online toy stores.

Great quality! from San Diego, CA on 11/19/2015 – Verified Buyer
We bought this for our 2 year old daughter for Christmas. She's 5 now and we still have this kitchen. It's been through 3 moves and 2 kids, and it still looks as good today as the day we put it together (minus some marker marks and sticker). I love this brand and would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Pros: Great place to hide toys, easy to put together, great quality.
Cons: Comes with metal play pots = kids banging them on everything making loud noises (totally worth the amount of play they get out of it).

Very pleased, please read review from Green Bay, WI on 01/05/2011
Long review but want to give as much information as I can as I appreciated it when searching for this unit.

Overall: The kitchen set is a well designed and crafted toy. The solid construction allows safe play for any child.

Detail:

Parts:
The parts are basically screws, bolts with cams. I used 2 different screw drivers ranging from small phillips(very small, almost as small as one used on a glasses) to a medium sized phillips head. The small phillips came in very handy when assembling the door with hinges. The medium can be used for overall assembly. I also used a cordless drill set on the lowest torque setting. Hardware came in a contained unit and was labeled to reduce confusion as to what part to use in a specific step.

ALL parts were labeled with numbers, which made it really nice when assembling the unit. I took all items out and placed in numeric order, as best as I could. I was really impressed that all items were labeled. Not just a stamp on the side of the board but with a sticker in the shape of a triangle with a number in it. Stickers are able to be removed or positioned so nobody can see it.

Instructions:
The instructions were very easy to follow and showed images of how to assembly the product. The instructions outlined specifically what screws and cams to use.

Overall assembly time took about 1.5 - 2.5 hours. There are numerous pieces, probably about 35+ but if you take your time, it goes pretty quick.

Construction:
The unit is a particle board laminate as with any build our own unit. The placement of screws and cams, in my opinion, are well placed to hold the unit so it won't break apart. Because it is a corner unit, you need to be careful when moving the unit, there is no support for any constructed corner unit. ONCE put together and in place, the unit is very sturdy, won't fall over when opening the doors. The oven door was well thought out because toddlers will tend to climb on things, the oven door opens from left to right, instead of top to bottom. Pots and pans, that came with unit, are a great addition. My daughter is 2 years old and plays with the kitchen pretty much every day.

Conclusion:
I never give out 5 stars on anything because nothing is perfect. I did my research on kitchen sets and found this one is worth the cost. My biggest concern was having a sturdy unit and something that I would be able to sell down the road. IF you follow the instructions you will have a great kitchen set for your child(ren).

Love it! from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 03/29/2011
I began researching kitchens on line after my 2 nieces got kitchens for xmas and my little 2 year old daughter loved playing in them. Once I saw this kitchen I was completely hooked and would not settle for anything else.[...]at a great price too! [...] This kitchen was a birthday present for my daughter[...] in the end I'm so glad that I didn't settle for something else. I bought this kitchen for my 2 year old little girl, but my 2 boys aged 4 and 6 play with it as well. This kitchen is very well made and the quality is excellent. There were some minor scuffs and scratches on it but I figured in a few weeks my kids will eventually have scratched it up anyways. The kitchen is very cute and has lots of storage space. The kitchen took about 3-4 hours to put together, but I spent about an hour sorting out the pieces and the hardware. I also put most of it together by myself, my husband helped at the end, which is why it may have taken so long. I was also very careful and took my time because I wanted to make sure everything was perfect. The instructions were great and very easy to follow. [...]All of the hardware was also lettered and sorted, but they were not actually labelled correctly. I reorganized everything before I started which made putting it together a lot easier. All of the pieces are also clearly labelled and putting it together was actually quite fun. Everything lined up the way it should, from the predrilled holes, to the shelves and doors. In the end I would definitely recommend this kitchen! It is so cute and is exactly like the picture. I can see my daughter playing with this kitchen for years! KidKraft makes a great product and I would definitely buy from them again. You will not be disappointed with this kitchen!!

Great value! from Hampton Bays, NY on 12/09/2015 – Verified Buyer
The price is right for this item! My daughter absolutely loves it. We have had it for almost two years and it is holding up perfectly. It takes some time to put it together, but don't all kids toys?

Cons: It was missing one of the knobs, but the company sent replacements overnight.
