Great Play Kitchen This is a great kitchen. My 2 year old just loves it. It is the perfect size for her. Easy to build!! Looks great in her toy room. Lots of different play activities for her to do, cooking, phone, washing, sink etc. Unlike so many toy kitchens this kitchen has counter space for my daughter to make her food and to use instead of moving everything to the floor. GREAT BUY!!! |

Love it! I began researching kitchens on line after my 2 nieces got kitchens for xmas and my little 2 year old daughter loved playing in them. Once I saw this kitchen I was completely hooked and would not settle for anything else.[...]at a great price too! [...] This kitchen was a birthday present for my daughter[...] in the end I'm so glad that I didn't settle for something else. I bought this kitchen for my 2 year old little girl, but my 2 boys aged 4 and 6 play with it as well. This kitchen is very well made and the quality is excellent. There were some minor scuffs and scratches on it but I figured in a few weeks my kids will eventually have scratched it up anyways. The kitchen is very cute and has lots of storage space. The kitchen took about 3-4 hours to put together, but I spent about an hour sorting out the pieces and the hardware. I also put most of it together by myself, my husband helped at the end, which is why it may have taken so long. I was also very careful and took my time because I wanted to make sure everything was perfect. The instructions were great and very easy to follow. [...]All of the hardware was also lettered and sorted, but they were not actually labelled correctly. I reorganized everything before I started which made putting it together a lot easier. All of the pieces are also clearly labelled and putting it together was actually quite fun. Everything lined up the way it should, from the predrilled holes, to the shelves and doors. In the end I would definitely recommend this kitchen! It is so cute and is exactly like the picture. I can see my daughter playing with this kitchen for years! KidKraft makes a great product and I would definitely buy from them again. You will not be disappointed with this kitchen!! |

real cute, but....... Overall I love it. It has some real cute features, but is still simple enough for the imagination to play. Here's my problem. The oven door opens left to right, and only to a 90 degree angle. This creates a very awkward and slightly dangerous corner. My daughter is two and has tendency to over extend doors, drawers, lids, etc... so I expect the door to be broken by either a stumble in an awkward corner (ouch!) or by an over excited cook trying to FULLY open the door. |

Very pleased, please read review Product Review Long review but want to give as much information as I can as I appreciated it when searching for this unit. Overall: The kitchen set is a well designed and crafted toy. The solid construction allows safe play for any child. Detail: Parts: The parts are basically screws, bolts with cams. I used 2 different screw drivers ranging from small phillips(very small, almost as small as one used on a glasses) to a medium sized phillips head. The small phillips came in very handy when assembling the door with hinges. The medium can be used for overall assembly. I also used a cordless drill set on the lowest torque setting. Hardware came in a contained unit and was labeled to reduce confusion as to what part to use in a specific step. ALL parts were labeled with numbers, which made it really nice when assembling the unit. I took all items out and placed in numeric order, as best as I could. I was really impressed that all items were labeled. Not just a stamp on the side of the board but with a sticker in the shape of a triangle with a number in it. Stickers are able to be removed or positioned so nobody can see it. Instructions: The instructions were very easy to follow and showed images of how to assembly the product. The instructions outlined specifically what screws and cams to use. Overall assembly time took about 1.5 - 2.5 hours. There are numerous pieces, probably about 35+ but if you take your time, it goes pretty quick. Construction: The unit is a particle board laminate as with any build our own unit. The placement of screws and cams, in my opinion, are well placed to hold the unit so it won't break apart. Because it is a corner unit, you need to be careful when moving the unit, there is no support for any constructed corner unit. ONCE put together and in place, the unit is very sturdy, won't fall over when opening the doors. The oven door was well thought out because toddlers will tend to climb on things, the oven door opens from left to right, instead of top to bottom. Pots and pans, that came with unit, are a great addition. My daughter is 2 years old and plays with the kitchen pretty much every day. Conclusion: I never give out 5 stars on anything because nothing is perfect. I did my research on kitchen sets and found this one is worth the cost. My biggest concern was having a sturdy unit and something that I would be able to sell down the road. IF you follow the instructions you will have a great kitchen set for your child(ren). Service Review Delivery: Standard delivery, I live in WI. Took about a week to get and arrived on time and in good shipping state. The box had minor shipping marks but the items inside are enclosed in Styrofoam with reinforced corners. One of the boards had a nick on it but stuff like that happens, it wasn't bad. |

What a great kitchen!! I sent this to my grandaughter for christmas and she loves it! She is 22 months and plays with it all the time. The construction of this kitchen is top notch. My son-in-law put it together with ease. He said there were alot of parts but he just followed the instructions and he had no problems. My grandaughter loves to wash her dishes in her kitchen sink and kidcraft made it so you can remove the sink and empty the water!! Also there is counter space and shelf space with this kitchen where other kitchens I looked at did not have this feature. There is really not anything bad about this purchase and I would recommend it to anyone. |

Cooking in Style Product Review Adorable! My daughter loves her kitchen! My husband and I put it together in about two and half hours. There are many parts, but we read the reviews so it wasn't that big of a surprise. My husband ended up splitting the wood in one spot.[...]The kitchen is perfect height for my tall three-year-old and has quadruple the storage space compared to the plastic kitchens. The counter-top space also makes it seem like a more realistic kitchen. My daughter has room for a mixer, toaster, coffee pot, and plates/cups all at once. She loves every compartment and has done endless amounts of "laundry". We LOVE this kitchen! Service Review Delivery was extremely prompt. I ordered it on-line on Saturday and received the kitchen on Tuesday. Everything arrived in great condition. |
