The first object designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Kartell, the Panier is distinguished by its simple yet evocative form. The shiny, transparent bars emanating from a central circle recall the rays of the sun, particularly when placed in the light. Its structure consists of four modules which attach by means of a tongue-and-groove and secured with a discreet joint. Made entirely of polycarbonate, the Panier is suitable for indoor or outdoor use and functions as both a container for magazines and supplies or even as a small end table. Perfect for the pool deck, living room or bedroom, the Panier is a useful and playful addition to the home.

We have the dark green A nice little table, my wife loves it. You can call it a statement piece, especially if the rest of your place is lame. lol |

Tiny gem This lovely little piece sits between a Bubble Club Sofa and a leather sling chair to make an elegant, cat-proof corner. Shorter than I had anticipated, the Panier nonetheless is eye-catching, prompting comments of "Neat!"--even more so when Lily the Persian Cat perches on it. This piece arrived right on time in perfect condition. |

Great Piece When I first saw this table in a magazine I wasn't really drawn to it. But, I bought one to try out for my bedroom since it was on sale and I love it. It's really a statement kind of object that I think will really be impressive. |

Low Key Modern This Kartell Panier is VERY affordable modern design that is useful. I bought the light green and am using it as an occassional table between two white lounge chairs. The low profile provides an unexpected but nice counterbalance to the more substantial midcentury modern pieces in the house. Thanks to the polycarbonate material, this piece is fun and quirky! |
