This composter works wonders. It is rodent proof which is a plus since the squirrels here always get in my compost. I an physically challenged, but can turn it even when full on both sides. I put everything in it and it handles it all! Highly recommend, worth every penny.

This tumbling insulated composter really cooks. I recommend it in spite of the price. Mine sits in the sun and works year-round. It's fast, and the finished compost is excellent. I use shredded oak leaves as the primary carbon source, and the only nitrogen comes from kitchen waste. The composter has enough room to easily handle the kitchen waste of our family of four. It could handle more, I think, maybe twice as much. In summer, the BSF larvae love the heat, and really crank up the decomposition. As a result, I haven't seen any other species of pest in or around it. The only complaint I might have is that the insulation in the door has shrunk enough with the heat that it sometimes is dislodged. It should probably have some aluminum straps or plastic fasteners to hold it to the door.

I am a first time com-poster/gardener and this is a very strong unit great for composting many thing... Maybe I dont have the right ratio of brown to green it taking a while but I keep adding more stuff. Take a few months to make.

Churns out the compost in record time. But be prepared for the assembly procedure!

After a couple of tumbles the screws stripped out on one side of the composter. Will have to go to hardware store and get larger screws. If not for that, the composter works well

Easy to build. Built Ford tuff and critter resistant, maybe not bear proof but sure don't have worry about other critters!!! Love this thing. Forget the written directions. look at the pictures and set out the parts and begin the install. The written instructions will only confuse you to the point of stopping and drinking margarita's or beer and leaving the boxes for someone else to put together. After I just looked the parts and the pictures it all came together like an easy puzzle. Then I sat back and enjoyed my favorite beverage and a cigar!

Well made. Like that bits of food do not fall out when spin it, as it does with other composters.
