Howard Miller Postema Wall Clock

This is a very BEAUTIFUL wall clock. It looks a lot better than the picture on the website. I am very pleased with this clock. In addition, it makes a great conversation piece.

The only reason I didnâ™t give the clock 5 stars, is that it is a bit pricey. It is extremely easy to mount. One screw into a stud and hang it. Easy to put together as long as you lay it flat and donâ™t try to assemble while holding vertical. It was the perfect thing to fill a huge open area on the wall. It is not solid and overwhelming like a painting or tapestry, but fills a space eloquently. The frame and numerals are sturdy, but not heavy (about 15 lbs.). The hands are a bit flimsy but need to be for small clock works to move them. Seems to keep good time, have had it up for about 6 hours and the time is still accurate. The finish is aged looking, just right to match antique style fixtures. The price is a shock but it will occupy the space for a long time to come.

I had a very large space opposite the fireplace in our great room. The wall was finished with crown molding, wainscotting and upper divided panels. The clock fits perfectly in this space, not overwhelming, but large enough to make a statement. It was not difficult to hang, the back hook is off center approximately an inch, just had to factor that in after determining the center point on the wall. The clock keeps perfect time and was the perfect piece to finish the room.

Love the company and the clock! The clock shipped immediately and I was notified by email of its status; it was delivered on time and in perfect condition. The clock is fabulous and works with a number of styles, traditional, transitional and eclectic - and makes for a stunning focal point.

The clock looks great, and so far is keeping excellent time. It is solidly constructed. Our one complaint is that the hanging bracket is mounted off centre (so over the X in XII) which made it challenging to centre on the wall - we mounted the clock over our mantle, and needed it centred carefully, so found the skewed mounting bracket a little frustrating.

Placed above black and gray granite fireplace. Focal point of room, just beautiful!!!!!!
