Despite some of the negative reviews, I decided to give it a try since I liked the look. I wish I went with other options. Some pieces were damaged and some even cracked during construction. It's very short and does fit adult jackets very well. And it has a very strong chemical smell. I wish I could return but I can't imagine taking it all apart and repackaging it. I don't think worth the cost.

Love this hallentry storage unit. The only thing I would change is to have a wider option as this fits two people perfectly and it would be nice for at least myself and my two boys to be able to sit and get our shoes on at the same time. They are only 4 and 5 so they don't take up that much room :). It's a nice, fairly solid unit (of course it's not solid wood at this price but it's decent enough we're going to buy a 2nd). It was easy enough to put together that I put it together with my 5 year old as a helper.

The hardware for the lid of the trunk is not of good quality. Due to the springs having great contact, the lid will pull out because the screw-system doesn't hold the lid firmly in it's place. Now we are left to find an alternative means to make sure this doesn't happen again. So you should do something like a butterfly screw system instead.

This is exactly what I was looking for. The look is fantastic. I would recommend it to a friend. Putting it together was not difficult .

Love it, went together easy, my husband did it by himself in under 2 hours. Fits the need of a family of perfectly.

27 pieces of wood and approx 100 pieces of hardware. Nonaigned pilot holes for screws ended up with wood split. Poor directions, loosing orientation on what is finished side. Had to install springs twice to get correct orientation as directions inadequate. Shorter than appearance in photo. Check dimentions. Well packaged.

Arrived in less time than I thought it would take. Simple instructions. (Watch front facing on rear panel support) Looks very nice in our home.

I saw this hall tree stand online, and when I looked for it again, I couldn't find it. I was thrilled when I found it at Wayfair's website, since I had found it online in other places for much more money. It arrived super quick and my husband was able to put it together fairly easily. I love that now I can organize the front entry with our coats and shoes. We live in an older home, and there is no entry closet. I love that this can store so much stuff! I only wish they offered it in antique white to match the other furniture I just bought, but I love it nonetheless.

Great looking, seems very sturdy. The bench is a great space to store small things like hats and gloves. Took about 2 hours to assemble, but as long as you follow the directions it is fairly easy, just time consuming.

The hall tree was a bit of challenge to put together based on instructions. There were also a couple of pieces on the back the were a bit damanged. However, you cant see these pieces. Once it was put together, it looks very nice and seems to be sturdy.
