The chair is terrific. It is the perfect height for a makeup table, is sturdy and pretty. The assembly was a challenge without the right tool. Once we found the 7/16 wrench to hold the bottom nut so the top screw could be tightened, it was a cinch. I highly recommend that Wayfair send the proper tool to make it easier to assemble or customers can buy the 4 inch long 7/16 wrench and save your money for professional assembly. The set of replacement bar stools was in perfect condition! I love the chairs, but I will admit that I have to get used to the fact that they do not automatically return to their original position when you stand up! However, the first set of chairs I received were obviously returned by a previous customer; they had been partially unwrapped with hardware removed and loose in the box, and there was a large dent in the back of one of the chairs. In addition, the stain on both seats was not applied correctly and visibly damaged. This is a great vanity stool and well made. I do agree with some of the comments regarding the ease of putting it together.
