This fire pit comes with everything you need as part of the package. In addition to the pit itself, its comes with a dome shaped screen lid so you can safely leave the fire when you go to bed at night. It also has a weather cover for keeping the rain out in between uses. Plus it has a grill that's made to fit, so you can cook food over the fire -- and let me tell you, if you've never had a steak cooked over wood fire/coals, you've never had a steak. This pit even comes with a steel poker for stirring the fire. Like I said, the complete package! But all these inclusions don't mean a thing if the fire pit fails to work well for building fires. Right? Well no worries in this department. This pit has deep ventilated side walls, so you can safely build a roaring fire. Big fires are our favorite! We also like how this pit is lower to the ground than some others we've seen, so you can easily converse with your friends on all sides of the fire. We even like the welded ring that surrounds the top. It provide a little bit of extra safety, and it makes a convenient anchor point for your stick when roasting marshmallows to perfection... it's handy for moving the pit between uses too. We like the rugged good looks of this pit in our back yard. Everytime we have friends over, they compliment us on our fire pit! It looks good, works well, and it's ready to go right out of the box -- no assembly required. This fire pit is extremely well built, but if we ever manage to wear it out, I'm buying the same one again. Highly recommended!"..."  Read more

This is the second Patina fire pit we have owned. We learned from the first one the importance of drilling holes in the bottom if you can't keep it covered all the time. None the less the first one lasted almost five years with much abuse from the weather. These fire pits are beautiful and you can load them up with fire wood for plenty of warmth on cold days and evenings. We entertain outdoors quite a bit and its small enough to take camping. Everyone raves about the looks and the warmth it produces. Its a snap to clean too. Now that we know a little about protecting it from standing water i would guess this one will last 7 or 8 years. We love how sturdy and rustic looking it is. No worries that it will blow over in strong winds. We have tried many cheaper and different types of fire pits. None can compare to the Patina pits for what we use it for, which is every weekend!"..."  Read more

I love the fire pit, it is very deep and holds a lot of logs. The legs make the pit look a little cheap so I removed the legs and placed it on an existing fire pit stand. I do not mind that the pit is no longer portable as I escavated a small area and filled it with 3 qtr inch granite and trimmed it with native stone for a more permanent look."..."  Read more

When we built our deck, we bought one of these hammered copper fire pits. At 30" and a strong base, it can hold lots of wood for a long-lasting fire. I've had some pretty hot fires in this thing and the copper just seems to laugh at the stress. Although the screened lid has rusted away to nothing (we just threw it away), the wrought iron base looks like new with no rust. The copper bowl shows signs of wear - but we tend to carry it full of ashes and dump it that way instead of emptying in-place with a bucket or small shovel. It has a few dents in its bowl. The rim is banged up from big wheels and such crashing into it as well as logs being dropped into it. And yet this fire pit continues to hold up. No holes - still fills up with water after a rain. My brother has one and he loves his as well. Great fire pit. I would recommend it to anyone!"..."  Read more
