Bought the Desk and File cabinet together after searching office stores and furniture stores for a "nice" desk and file . Most were cheap junk or were so expensive compared to these that I didn't see the value in the difference in costs. It takes awhile to assemble this and make sure you assemble on clean carpet as the composite scratches easily. You can touch up with black paint and it hardly shows. ( I nicked the desk top while assembling of course) Read the drawer assembly area closely. It's easy to make a mistake there in assembly. The desk had 3 cracked drawer bottoms damaged in shipping...they were replaced in 3 days No questions asked with an email replacement form. Excellent service there***** It's a very nice looking desk and file cabinet. Looks good and is heavy good quality. Would buy again in a minute. You won't regret this model desk or file cabinet."..." We needed a small filing cabinet next to our desk in our den. We wanted to find something that wasn't too big and increase the effective table surface area of the desk (our desk is pretty small). This unit fits the bill nicely. Putting it together took a little time. Instructions were generally good; the only exception was putting the file cabinet drawer together where you had to insert the ends of 2 separate pieces into the front base. Just make sure you insert the "male" end of the 2 pieces into the base well and angle back into a vertical position even if it seems a little hard to do at first. I learned the hard way by not inserting it all the way and putting the rest of the drawer together, and then figuring out what I did wrong and having to tear the drawer down to do it a second time. Filing cabinet was delivered easily and quickly, no damage. Very nice piece of furniture, sturdy. However, there were screws missing and I had to wait to have them shipped to put it together. Then I realized the 4 drawer sides were all right sides and there were no left sides. So now I am waiting for them to be delivered. The item was delivered quickly, but the missing parts are really holding things up. But still a very nice filing cabinet especially for the price. Slightly darker than the picture, but nice color and grain. A little tricky to put together, but I'm the kind of person who likes doing this kind of thing so it was OK for me."..." Read more

I'm using this file cabinet to accompany my desk. It's perfect as a printer stand, and the top drawer is deep and useful, and it's handy to have a small file drawer in reach. It wasn't too difficult to put together, but it takes awhile. It's a nice looking little cabinet. The only negative I would give is that the drawers don't slide all that smoothly, and so the whole cabinet pushes or pulls on its wheels when the drawer is opened or closed. I kind of wish there was a way to lock the wheels. Otherwise, definitely worth the money."..." Read more
