After a full month of use all is well so far. We tend to be fairly gentle with our sink and pans (stainless steel) in it while washing. We don’t leave food items sitting in the sink for long periods of time, and have not had any issues with it discoloring/staining. Beautifully designed vanity! The only drawback to this particular piece is that the company does not have the vanity top to go with it. You will need to have a vanity top made special for this vanity. I didn't know this until after I had purchased it and thought I could order another beautiful vanity top to retro fit onto this vanity. It didn't work :(. So, the vanity and the vanity top I purchased from Wayfair didn't fair well for me due to this problem. Otherwise, it would have been a beautiful ensemble in my bathroom. Also, the retro fit vanity top with this vanity base didn't accommodate for the use of the beautiful faucet I purchased. It wouldn't allow the faucet to have full power or range of movement; because it brought the faucet too close to the edge of the unit and the wall. Too bad! Wall-mount is the way to go in my opinion. Works great. Granted, it's duh-easy to figure out how to install, but for the price, I would suggest a template for drilling into the wall to ensure the spacing between the two mounting holes is spot-on. This is a very beautiful sink. Great quality and beautiful crisp white color. Has a shiny finish (not matte finish) and is quite heavy and very well made. Remember to read the sink descriptions when you are looking for a sink - I ordered two Koehler sinks that were listed as “white” in the title that turned out to be matte finish or cream with light blue flecks and I ended up returning those.This sink was attempt #3 and I am completely happy!
