Very nice piece. More shelves--four--than many other baker's racks. Piece is nice, moderate height. "Assembly" is really only unfolding the front vertical pieces and folding down the shelves. The shelves operate independently. I have folded up the bottom shelf to allow a taller artwork to rest on the floor beneath the third shelf. Piece is still stable.. Carol. Washington, Dc.
