Because braided rugs are reversible, you are in a sense getting two rugs for the price of one. I don't mind paying up front for a quality product that will give me years of good wear.SUPPORT YOUR FELLOW SMALL PEOPLE: To my knowledge, Colonial Mills rugs are American classics still made in the United States by an American company employing Americans and legal immigrants.COLORS: This particular Russet was on clearance sale, and I did worry a bit at first that it would be too drab. But the colors are a nice range of browns laced with taupe and a light gray. They blend well with the fireplace bricks and the painted wood floor in my apartment.MAINTENANCE: This 100% wool braided area rug can be rolled up easily and taken to the cleaners. You can have it moth-proofed by a reputable rug cleaner, or open the end of its plastic wrap after it has been cleaned and pour some mothballs down there if you plan to keep it in storage for the warm summer months. Keep the vacuum cleaner brushes on a higher setting so that you do not abrade the braids prematurely! Snow white rug is of good quality, does not shed and is washable. I love the feel of walking on the rug in my bare feet! The zoom function of the rug on the Wayfair website sold me on the rug because of the long pile. I was not disappointed. It is a very versatile rug that can be used on tile and wood floors or as an accent rug over carpeting. I have used the rug for over a month it has remained bright & clean despite daily use. It does not tend to mat as some long pile rugs do, but remains fluffy and fun to walk on in my bare feet. Just an occasional shake refreshes it. Beautiful rug. I found this rug at [...] and then searched everyone online to find it at a better price. Wayfair was almost $800 cheapier for the 13 x 10. I was nervous about ordering from Wayfair since I had never heard of them or known anyone who ordered from them. Products arrived (3 rugs and 3 rug pads) within 7-10 days. Very fast. Everything was well wrapped and in perfect condition upon arrival. I absolutely love this rug and Wayfair. This rug is a big, beautiful classy rug for our great room. It looks wonderful with our black piano and other furniture. We purchased this rug to replace another KAS fleur de lis rug, and Wayfair had the best price by far! Additionally the shipping was free! At first we were concerned buying a rug on the Internet because you can never be sure of the colors, and we were concerned the gold might be too mustardy.
