American Standard Tub Faucets

We used this to replace an old 3-handle shower faucet by getting 3" hole covers to cover over the old holes. Be warned, though - if you want to do this kind of project and have an old faucet with the modern standard 8-inch spread, you'll need to use a cover plate instead, and I'm not sure if there's a generic one you can use with this faucet. Our old faucet was 11.5 inches, so we had plenty of room to put this in the center hole and cover over the other two holes, and it looks much better! I shower everyday and had orginally planned to buy the [$] version of this showerhead, but it was a "fixed" showerhead and could not be adjusted. This is the only American Standard Amarillis spout and handle that will replace the others in brass.. Its a no-brainer to change as everything is above the tub deck.
