All Mirrors

This mirror is really beautiful in person. It looks lovely in my small yellow bathroom. It hangs flush to the wall so it is not cumbersome, which was what I wanted- I did not want a mirror that jutted out from the wall because I have a small vanity. The scalloped edge looks beautiful with the opaque border. Just note that the opaque border is just that, so depending on what color your wall is, the color may show through the glass border. My wall is light yellow so it looks fine, but other darker colors might change the look of the mirror. This mirror is a real gem: elegant yet simple. I used two (in the 36" x 26" size and hung horizontally) for above the sinks in our bathroom beneath oil rubbed bronze light fixtures. Perfect. However/caution: the actual size of each mirror is not 36 x 26, but 35 x 25. Since my husband is a full 12" taller than I am, choosing two mirrors that could be hung at the same level and still accomodate both of our eye levels was a key factor in my decision. Since the real size was just 1" smaller than I expected, and the mirrors are otherwise ideal, we decided to keep them. But, had I known they were really 35 x 25, I would not have considered them in the first place, as what I was seeking was a t rue 36 x 26" mirror. Another thing: In addition to stating accurate sizes in the product description, it would be VERY helpful if the Wayfair.com product description included the WIDTH OF THE FRAME itself (in this case 2 1/4"). THE reason I chose this mirror --in addition to its size, color and traditional style --was that the picture of it on the web site showed it to have a relatively narrow frame which meant the mirror itself would be all that much bigger. I would liked to have known the frame's true size before ordering instead of guessing. All in all, the Wayfair is a first class organization. I'm SO happy we found this! We just love it. It is hanging horizontal in our dining room above the server. This mirror does make a statement! We get tons of compliments & fits our decor perfectly.
