Overall, a decent set. I looked and looked and looked for the perfect outdoor dining set. I was hoping this one wouldn’t have too much of that gold edging that looks fake and there is a bit more than I hoped for, but not too much. Unfortunately, the set comes with silver screws, of which we were aware. They are very unsightly. For just over 50 we purchased Stainless steel black washers and screws to replace all of the silver ones. Why the manufacturer couldn’t do that is beyond my comprehension. Subject: Issues with Assembly Quality – Order # 3607414352 Re: order # 3607414352 To whom it may concern, I’m reaching out regarding my purchase of the 8‑person outdoor pub set with seat cushions and the large center lazy Susan. It is the 10 piece high outdoor pub set that cost me in total, $2,649.99. There was a delivery delay because it was delivered mid-June, and it was supposed to arrive sometime between May 4th – 8th . Once it finally arrived, I had to hire someone to assemble it. The assembly that was agreed on with the hired hand was originally supposed to cost us $200, but ended up costing $500.00, due to significant manufacturing defects. Many of the pre‑drilled holes did not line up with the components they were intended for, and the assembler had to drill new holes in multiple areas just to complete the job. The table alone took over three hours because of these issues, and the chairs required additional corrective work as well. The lazy Susan for the center of the table is discolored in spots, I have attached 3 pictures to this email of the lazy Susan. The set is now assembled and looks great, but the amount of extra labor required was far beyond what should be expected for a brand‑new product at this price point. These defects clearly originated from the manufacturing process, not from assembly error. I wanted to bring this to your attention because the product did not meet reasonable quality standards, and the additional cost and difficulty were unexpected and unnecessary. I would appreciate your review of this matter and any consideration you can offer regarding the inconvenience and extra expense we endured caused by the manufacturing defects. It took us several hours to finish putting it together mostly because we don't often construct things. The first pieces were difficult because we had to be on our knees to screw it together, after that all was well. Small tools included. When you get to the part where you attach an inner ring to the outer legs, we used the large box it came in to hold it in place by placing it under the metal pieces- which balanced it and held it in place while you screw in place..
