luv the versatility of this unit and the ability to add more sections down the road. also love the simple but elegant design, my only dislike was the fact that brown is no longer available, also the instructions indicate that you would need to screw the top shelving unit into the basedrawers. I dislike, putting wood screw holes in the base. They should of designed it where instead of using wood screws, you could use machine screws to take it apart without damaging the wood.. William. These are nice storage cabinets. It took about 8 hours to assemble two units. We put 2 of these cabinets in a nook in a bedroom. They fit perfectly Instructions were clear and helpful. The shelves are stationery but will hold many things. We like the added glass doors at the top, which make it a little nicer in appearance. I gave 4 stars because 1 of the tall doors came with only 2 holes bored for the hinges. So we had to wait for it to be replaced before we could finish. Wayfair is very fast to respond to damage or parts issue and they worked with the manufacturer to get the door replaced in just a few days! It did take 2 people to place the top of the unit onto the bottom half safely. This is a very nice piece and went together very well. Pretty color but all arrived very dusty as if they'd been sitting out in a warehouse for a couple years (which they had, since Dec 2024). One had a faint scratch on a door, and the other door on that unit was installed a bit out of square, but we can deal with it as all three were in good shape otherwise. Overall the purchase is acceptable, especially given you can't find solid wood furniture anywhere anymore that doesn't cost at least twice as much as what we paid for these, which is saying something given we live in a metro area with a population of close to 9 million people. I absolutely love this cabinet! It’s tall and elegant without taking up much floor space, making it perfect for smaller areas or awkward corners. The instructions were excellent, and I was genuinely impressed with how well engineered every piece was. There are a lot of parts, though—it took me about six hours to assemble. The bookcase fits the space perfectly, it is tall and narrow. Still trying to determine what fits on each of the shelves as it does not actually fit hardcover books upright, which is the only negative. I can place the books on their side but can’t fit as many. Put together very well - only issue was the cracked and dented side piece so I swapped what side they are on so this broken piece was hidden.
