This lamp looks good, has a classic style, and provides a good amount of light. It was a little wobbly at first as others mentioned but with a small amount of tinkering it feels solid. The cord does not come out of the base so it is a little awkward but we used a zip tie to secure it to the pole and make it less noticeable (plus it is behind a chair).
