Absolutely perfect stained glass light to go in my Craftsman style home built in the '20's! I got the matching wall sconces to go on either side of the fireplace and they are perfect! Shipped and packaged VERY securely. The glass itself is a lighter weight, thinner glass, but that is excellent for such a large chandelier. I have a full weight stained glass chandelier and it had to have extra bracing to even hang it. I love that this is slightly lighter in weight, but will be adding the extra protection, just in case. I ordered this chandelier for my dining room & thought it was lovely, but ended up returning it. The finish is definitely a silver tone; no gold hue whatsoever. I had extra crystals left over... not sure if they're "extra" or needed to be attached somehow, but the chandelier doesn't look like it's missing any parts. This chandelier showed up so well packaged, I was blown away. Two cardboard boxes within a large cardboard box, separated by a piece of Styrofoam. The top box had all of the parts shown in the pictures above, and the bottom box held the glass seeded shades for the lights, each tucked into Styrofoam and with Styrofoam inserts. Nothing was scratched or broken. Made of a lightweight aluminum material and coated in a bronze finish, it should be an easy installation as the fixture will not be heavy. Months ago, I purchased a Kichler chandelier, and it was so cheaply made, with plastic parts, that one of the eyes broke and we were unable to finish the installation.
