This clean contemporary powerhouse delivers the airflow of larger fans using DC motor technology to keep energy consumption to a minimum while the integrated DC LED light provides energy-efficient illumination.

This is a beautiful fan. Works with modern, industrial, or mid-mod decor (which is pretty sweet since mine is a mash-up of all three). Silent. Strong. Reversible. Powerful light. Very pleased with it except for a few minor quibbles: 1. The light is glaring. You can dim it, through an awkward control on the remote, but it still kind of hurts your eyes in your upper field of vision. A better diffuser shade is needed to disperse the light widely rather than as a blinding spotlight. Adjustable color temperature wouldn't hurt either, or Hue compatibility, but that is asking a lot. 2. The specs imply that an 18" downrod is included, which is ideal for tall ceilings like mine. Actually the downrod is 4"; they are counting the considerable height of the DC motor in the calculation. So I bought a 24" downrod at the hardware store, which was only available in white (which is fine, I chose the combo of white and nickel in the first place, but it looks a bit odd that the canopy cover is then nickel again.) 3. The two things I hate about ceiling fans are wobble, and the cheesy looking cover over the ceiling connection (canopy cover). This fan has only a tiny bit of wobble, but that's not none, though perhaps it could be tracked down and fixed with the included weights. It also has, disappointingly for an otherwise super-modern fan, pretty much the same cheesy looking canopy cover as any Ye Olde Fashioned fan (albeit rendered in higher quality material). This fan works very well for our space. It functions as described with the remote provided (no AAA batteries included!) The light is adequate in brightness and the overall appearance of the fan is modern and the three blade adds a minimalistic element. It does not push tons of air down, so if your installation allows for use of the long extension so it sits lower, then you may want to do that; wish we had done. We are experienced amateur fan installers (probably 20 over the years) and we installed 2 others just last month, but this one was a bit tricky (totally do-able for those who have experience, but may be frustrating for others.) Notice in the third photo that the holes do not line up and therefore some manual adjustments had to be made. It was also a bit confusing the way (photo 4) the housing is all one piece, but the instructions (step 11) illustrate them separately. It was a true challenge to get this installed with the rubber fully flush on the surface. We had to buy longer screws that those provided, which would not catch, let alone hold. Once installed, the fan is really attractive and works as advertised. It is fully plastic, but that makes sense for outdoors, especially here in H.O.T. Texas. We are considering purchasing another one for the other side because even though we received the product through a promotion, we believe that at the current price, it holds sufficient value.
