It took 43 minutes to assemble. Its lightweight but sturdy. It looks like solid wood and very good quality. I appreciate how they packaged the hardware needed. You will need a screwdriver. The only downside for me was the last step of screwing in part number 8 would be easier if you apply it before putting on the top shelf. These were really simple to put together and when they were, they made great storage for our DVD’s, gaming consoles and photo albums.
