These chairs are compact but sturdy. I love the Mid Century Modern look to them. Unboxing was a bit frustrating—the Styrofoam crumbled everywhere, creating quite a mess, and the screws were taped to it, which made cleanup even more difficult when removing them. During assembly, pieces F and G (the lower cross bracing) were especially tricky to align, and many of the screws didn’t line up easily with the predrilled holes. Step 10 was particularly challenging, as there were no predrilled holes for those screws, making installation much harder than expected. I like that this set is compact, easy to move through a standard doorway (we've taken it outside for nice weather dining). The chairs are comfortable (the seat backs are at a good angle and height) though the pads are a little thin for long term use. I think I will add more padding to these at some point. This is my second time purchasing this set. The first set lasted seven years and three moves. I have nothing bad to say- the set up is easy and we didn’t run into any issues. I built the chairs myself which took about 1.5 hours for all four. My husband built the table which took him about an hour. All the pieces are very sturdy and good quality. Around year five we added some extra screws to the table base, but this was probably only needed due to disassembling and reassembling the table multiple times.
