Came beautifully packaged! No dings. The color is slightly more orangey than I wanted but I’m okay with that. I love that there is no assembly, and the wood is fairly good quality for the price. Just two negatives - I wish I could remove the nubs (that join the units together) on the top unit, and the company sticker on the unit was a bear to get off - I don’t know why companies put them on the unit like that! Overall this suits our needs and the item is as pictured. It looks great, but the quality isn’t super sturdy. It does come with anti-tip kits. The majority of the pieces are thick particle board with wood veneer, not solid wood. However, it does give the appearance of solid wood. The back panel is very thin and is not stained on the back, so the book cases need to be against a wall to hide the appearance. The quality is subpar for the price, hence the 3 stars. The bookcase itself is very nice, but some holes didn't line up when putting it together. Also the top portion and the bottom portion do not line up flush across the front. They are offset from each other. I did not see anything explaining that the pegs that hold the shelves are made of plastic.
