This fireplace has been such a wonderful addition to my home. I am disabled was able to do the very small amount of “installation” required by myself -one has to screw the legs onto the unit. It adds a lovely ambiance to my living room that everyone comments on enjoys. What a nice unit! It was easy to install. The control knob was stuck at first but I was patient and tapped it lightly and jiggled it and just like that it, started to function properly. This unit came from China so I figure the control knob was jammed due to shipping such a great distance to Kentucky. I love the black with the blue flame. It heats great. No problemo. This was a great addition to my sunroom to replace my older 10K btu model that couldn’t keep up with the extreme colder temps (20°Fs and below). This space is not heated so my Mr. Heater acts as the primary source. I only have to turn the setting to 3 to heat the room and then down to 2. Heater works well on our patio. We've used it several times already. The heat distribution is even and instant. We like the fact that it has a HIGH and LOW setting. Some flaws in the design. Power cord is way too short and the manual was incredibly poorly written. Instructions to set up and use were terrible but they made sure to state that extension cords should not be used which makes this unit unusable- since their cord is way too short once placed into the stand.
