Hard to imagine 1000 was the original price. It’s an attractive “antiqued” light weight aluminum table that is placed on a covered porch. Truthfully 400 is perhaps still a bit steep but it fits in my space better than the former wooden table. It won’t be damaged ifwhen rained upon or has cats jumping on and off. I really like this table! It fits in so nicely with some chairs I already had. *THE CHAIRS DO NOT COME WITH THE TABLE* Assembly is easy and straightforward. Nothing complicated about it. I like the sturdy metal frame of the table. The table top is a faux wood with a nice grain that’s pretty black and gray in color. It says the table is year round and I believe that. I only question how the top will hold up if it’s exposed to the elements year round. I have it placed under a sunshade so I believe that will protect it from warping.
