The couch is comfortable. The material is very soft. It arrived in three boxes. If you’re not that tall, your feet won’t touch the ground. However the sofa slides out making it like a shorter version of a chaise. That is a great feature. It has two storage spaces that aren’t that big but adequate. Once assembled the sofa is a mediocre sofa due to the fact that there isn’t any way to make the back cushions look neat and perfect. It may take time before they fluff up a little more. The headrests don’t seat all the way in which is frustrating, but you can arrange the material to cover it. The sofa comes with two matching throw pillows, but I will be adding my own. The assembly instructions are not the best, but we figured it out through patience. Some of the cushion slides are hidden in the couch, and I feel that the manufacturer should have noted that in the installation book. It took us quite a while to figure that out. So easy to put together even by yourself--only need to attach the arm rests and legs. No tools needed as.the screws and hex key are provided. The hardest part was taking it out of the box (or in my case, ripping the box away from the couch). As a couch, it feels great if you like stiffer support, like I do. If youre looking for a cloud to sit on, this aint it. Similarly the bed portion is kinda of stiff for sleeping but its easily solved by a mattress topper. Its super easy to fold and unfold, but mine didnt come with directions, so here are some tips. To flatten it to a bed, unfold the seat to flat first. Then unzip the pockets in the back of the backrest and unbend the legs for the backrest. After, gently pull the backrest forward first (like the backseat of your car when youre trying to get to your trunk from the inside of your car) and then push it all the way back to the floor. If you want to recline, you have to pull it up to the desired angle from the flat position. Note, the back has a huge exposed zipper (see pic) so if you dont put it against a wall, youll probably want a throw blanket or something else to hide it. Fair warning, it seems smaller than a twin in terms of width so larger guests and guests who roll in their sleep may feel uncomfortable with the width.
