We were able to use this to control the handheld, showerhead, and the tub faucet! Turned out beautiful. Only thing is, it will absolutely retain water spots and finger smudges. The Alfi Brand AB9101-BN is a great add on to any shower remodel. This allows adding up to three water outlets such as Rain Shower, Hand Held Shower, Tub Spout or in my case a combo back spray foot spray in a shower stall. The diverter also great to fix to the tub spout lift handle always dropping after every shower since the valve controls water flow to the tub spout or shower directly. The diverter has a full 360 degree rotation which allows sharing between all two components. However, though the flow is fantastic when selecting a single outlet, when two outlets are shared the valve itself SEVERELY RESTRICTS THE WATER FLOW TO TWO SHARED OUTLETS! At least with the very restricted shared water flow does allow running the water until warm water comes out both selected outlets; though would be much better if two shared components were free flow. I confirmed the Alfi valve itself the restriction before installation by blowing on the inlet while rotating the valve. Free Flow when one outlet selected, restricted as if blowing up an pool mattress when two shared components selected. Emphasize the valve FULL FREE FLOW WHEN ONLY ONE OUTLET SELECTED, so just know sharing say the shower and back spray will not work. Hopefully Alfi comes up with a replacement cartridge at a reasonable cost that both allows individual select and especially full free flow when sharing two outlets. See the back foot spray picture below; these two sprays are one of the selections of the Alfi Valve and a Delta external diverter valve allows free flow when one or both foot and back spray selected.. In the modern shower, maybe, one water feature is not enough. Adding the high quality, 2-port diverter to your water outlet could allow you to add another shower head or, particularly, a handheld shower. The flow selector on the diverter allows you to direct the water to either opening and actually, by positioning in the middle, you can feed both outlets. This diverter is made of heavy duty brass with chrome plating. A very nice piece of functional bathroom hardware.
