We purchased 3 different medallions to look at them in person. decide on one return the rest. They were so gorgeous we couldn’t choose readily, but have a couple light fixtures we can use them with. So we kept them all. Love them. Only recommendation is check where the light fixture attaches to the electrical box. Some medallion style are not deep so may not cover up fixture side screws.. Dab. It ended up working for us ok, but it was not as expected. The description said the sizes was a range up to 19”, but gave the orderer no place to choose a size so we were not sure exactly what would show up when it got here. What we got was a 15 3/4” medallion. It just barely fit, but we made it work after doing a bit of wall boarding.. Judith. Derry, NH. Mon Mar 09 2026

The Fanimation Close to Ceiling Kit replaces the standard hanger bracket and downrod, allowing the fan to be mounted closer to the ceiling—ideal for spaces with lower ceilings. It includes both tall and short kits and is offered in a wide range of finishes.

Bought to replace original downrod which allowed fan blades to contact ceiling joists in a wind. This mount does not allow the fan to tilt as the downrod did. Item works perfectly! Also, the Instructions were easy to follow . thanks. Anonymous. Fri Jun 16 2023

This is my second purchase for this specific medallion- it is small but works in compact spaces like closets and entryways. I really like it because I use faux styrofoam ceiling tiles to cover ugly ceilings after scraping popcorn texture (and to avoid drywall repair and re-texturing). These are easily sprayed painted by the way. Plus… doesn’t every hard-working light fixture deserve a medallion Yes!. April. Creswell, OR. Mon Aug 24 2026
