They look great; not to "gaudy" not to plain but were somewhat difficult to install so the bottom of the lights were even on a slanted ceiling, although the multiple size rods afforded a longer length. These sconces are a nice size and very good quality. They are really cute, but in my bathroom the shade color looks a bit off. I would have given them five stars but the photos for these show them with warm, light tan-tinged glass shades whereas mine looked more of a hint of greenish-amber tones.
