We stamp Carbon Steel into a thin disc that’s half the weight of cast iron but every bit as durable—so it seasons faster, responds quicker, and is rugged enough for the grill or open flame. With sloping walls and a wide surface, this pan provides maximum heat contact for high-heat searing. See how this chef-loved pan will replace cast iron as the favorite kitchen heirloom.

I'm delighted with my new stockpot set, (having waited to the age of 55 to own such a luxury, I researched for a few weeks before deciding on BergHOFF Dina) We had a neighborhood soup party and I also found them perfect for making demi glaze. I love that the diameter fits on each burner without extending over neighboring burners so that every spot on the stovetop can be utilized. Great even cooking...no hot spots, even when soups remain over flame for 12+ hours.....demi glaze, more than 24 hours.......AND they look beautiful. Please consider making a 15-16 quart. I'll purchase that one, too :). Erin's Busy Kitchen. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mon Feb 23 2026

Item has been backordered so I just received while on vacation; therefore, I have not had an opportunity to use it yet. Appears to be well constructed, has good weight to it for cooking, and stylish design. I thought it had a lid (had looked at several before buying), but due to size can improvise with a lid from my cookware. As another reviewer mentioned, it did not come with instructions as to whether it requires being seasoned or how to do so. Will update once we actually prepare a meal.. Borncajun. Crestwood, KY. This pan is amazing. I'm not great at cooking with stainless steel but I can tell it's definitely easier release than other's I've tried with. It's feels heavy and durable in hand, and I had an existing lid that fits this universal 9.5in diameter, so it's not a big deal that it doesn't come with it's own lid. (My Demeyere Sautese lid fits it perfectly too). I've made lots of sauces with this--I wanted something that could stand up against a metal whisk without worrying about scraping off any coating..
