It comes in a crate and its 300 pounds so beware. I paid for the delivery service and it was no problem although the men visibly struggled to get it into my bedroom. My master is on the first floor. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. This is a beautiful bathtub. The price is awesome for what you get. I love the shape as it is soft in a very square area in our bathroom. It’s super deep and the husband and I can both fit in it well. It does have a bit of a narrow center so it’s a little tight in the middle with both of us in there, but still plenty of room. This is so luxurious! I couldn’t have picked better! I was making a wet room. While it is a large bathroom, the size of the wet room was not huge. I really liked the idea of a freestanding tub, and came across this beauty. And because it has the straight side, you don’t have to clean behind it. As you can see, it is easy to get to the sides and the floor and walls for cleaning. It is so deep and wide, I’m glad I purchased an in-line hot water heater. When I sit straight up in it, the water comes almost to my armpits. I am only 5’1”. The sides are perfectly slanted. Because of my height, I have difficulty lying in it without bracing my feet. I can lay my head back and just float! Some other tubs I considered didn’t have nearly the depth and holding capacity. Obviously, I highly recommend! The price was reasonable as well. Very excited to see the full remodel. This tub was exactly what I wanted amd fits perfectly. I like the deep water level and the little seat.. this is the update on my review. The tub originally came damaged from the manufacturer...twice. 3rd times the charm. Wayfair has more than impressed me with my remodel. I will use them again for the next bath remodel. For a great look and quality spa in the bathroom, this is an exceptional bathtub that you need to try out. It's comfortable for people who are over 6 inches tall. The slanted back is comfortable and the water depth is deep enough to soak without a cold back. Holds heat well enough you can break out in sauna sweat if you’re in a hot bath long. Easy to wipe down clean. Easy to install for DIY bathroom updates. Light enough to carry to the second-floor bathroom but sturdy enough that it doesn’t move constantly when you’re getting in and out.
