I want to start by saying that overall, the dresser is great. The solid wood material is really what I wanted for more durability over the cheaper dressers you can find. This specific dresser helped me a lot because I was having trouble finding a long dresser with these dimensions without it being too long (I had no room for much longer).
Now onto the dresser itself. I built this by myself and it took me some time, but the directions were pretty clear so most of the time was the tedious part of repeating the same steps for sections. I had a little trouble at one point for one of the screws, but that's really about it in terms of trouble. everything fits nicely and the package came completely undamaged (was packed well). I was even able to use the dresser without putting on the legs because I didn't want the extra 5+ inches on it. If you want to do that too I would recommend being careful as some screw heads do slightly stick out of the bottom. It sits perfectly fine, but it could scratch your floor if you aren't careful when moving it since it is designed to have the legs on. Make sure of that and you'll be fine. I really only gave it 4 stars because I'm a little concerned over 2 things.
The first being that, even though just about the entire dresser is solid wood, the bottom of each drawer is still a decently thin piece of bendable material. It's thicker than most other dressers I've seen, but I still worry about it giving out. I reinforced it with wood glue and I won't abuse it, but that worry is still there. The second, and biggest reason (still not that bad) is that the drawer "stops" are simple wooden dowels, which I don't like. Since the drawers work on wood slides and not plastic or metal roller tracks, the way to keep the drawers from falling out when pulled is they have you insert wooden dowels to act as stoppers at the front of the track and back of the drawer. The instructions tell you to to make sure the drawer dowel is flush with the drawer, but if you do that, there is no way for you to take the drawer out without purposely breaking the dowels, which means you can't use them when putting the drawers back in. In order to get around this I only put the dowels in about half way so I can use pliers to take them out if I ever need to remove the drawers for any reason. If you don't think you will ever need to do that then this shouldn't be a problem as long as, like everything else, you don't abuse it by yanking on the drawers as the dowels will definitely break. I have only had the dresser for about a week, but if anything negative changes over the next few months I will come back and update. As of right now, it's great.
