Great chairs. The color is a lovely dark teal - it really pops without feeling too in your face. The chairs are very easy to assemble, well made, sturdy, and look so much more expensive than they actually were. Very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend these. The cushion is comfortable and firm (but not too firm). Back is high enough and the base is deep enough that you can sit normally or pull your legs up. I attached a few photos of the step by step construction. I put these together myself, but would recommend 2 people for the first 2-3 steps to help steady out the arms. As others have said in their reviews, don't tighten the bolts all the way at first. Once you have everything attached, then you can come back and tighten it all.. Amelia. First I was skeptical about these chairs because some of the reviews said they were really firm, well they are and I like that for my back and for wear .
