The bookshelf is wonderful. Very sturdy and it looks high quality. As you can see I am using for our tv and it’s deep enough where the hdmi cords have room to be plugged in horizontally into the back of the tv. One heads up though, the package is HEAVYYY so be ready to have someone help you carry it in. Other than that, once it was built (which the assembly was so easy) it wasn’t to hard to move around to where I wanted it. This bookshelf is sturdy and well made. It does not look cheap. I am a 70 year old “senior” and I was able to assemble it on my own. These are just what I needed! They put together pretty well. I would recommend using wood glue for the pegs that hold the shelves on, just to make it a little sturdier.
