Got this as an open box set and it seems sturdy and well made. There were a few small scratches on one of the arms, but don't effect the structure at all. I really like these chairs. They’re pretty lightweight very and easy to assemble. I’m 5’ foot and my husband is 6’1” and it fits both of us pretty well. My only complaint is that the pillow for your back is a little bit under stuffed.
