The bench we ordered was the one shown here very rustic and manufactured by Loon Peak. We received a bench similar to the one shown not quite as rustic, not made by Loon Peak and assembly was required. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color is a little on the grey side. I expected a medium brown but its kind of an ashy brown. Its still very beautiful. There were no defects or issues putting together. You will need wood glue when you assemble because some parts fit together peg style. And I think it affects the structural integrity of it so I would not skip the glue step. I needed another person when putting together because the pieces were too long to hold and screw straight at the same time. The directions were easy to follow. It comes up to my knees height wise. Its a nice accent piece in a walk way or entry area. You can dress it up with pillows and decorative pieces. It holds 5 pairs of adult shoes on the bottoms for us. This bench arrived fully assembled and worked well for the smaller space by our door. The slats over the drawers have no barrier, so if you set shoes on them, any debris could fall into the drawers, which is a bad choice in design. Other than that, it is heavy and well made..
